Before anything changed

One day I was talking to my daughter about healing.

I told her what the Word of God says and explained that, in the name of Jesus, we can pray and believe for healing.

She listened to me.

Perhaps for her it was just a conversation with her father.

But I didn't know that very soon the moment would come when she would have the opportunity to put what she had heard into practice herself.

After a while, she came into the kitchen with a face full of surprise.

— Dad, guess what happened to me!

— What? — I asked.

— I got a pain in my back, on the left side. I prayed and it left immediately.

Then she told me something that made me laugh.

— But then the pain moved to the other side, to the right. I prayed again and it left. Then it returned to the left.

I listened and told her:

— Well, then we won't deal with one side first and then the other. Put your hands on both sides of your back and let's command the pain to leave completely.

We placed our hands on her back and prayed together in the name of Jesus.

The pain disappeared within a second.

She moved her back.

She bent down.

She straightened up again.

Then she checked if there was any pain left.

There wasn't.

For a moment we looked at each other and laughed.

But I kept thinking about something else.

Because this time I wasn't experiencing it.

It was her.

What she had heard from me a little while ago, she was now experiencing herself.

And this made me realize something.

Sometimes a discovery is not just for the person who makes it.

You can also show it to someone else.

And that person can believe it, put it into practice, and discover for themselves what it means.

At that moment, for me, there was something much greater than the disappearance of a pain.

I was seeing something passing from one life to another.

From father to daughter.

And then a question came to me:

“What if what a person discovers is not just for them?”

What if what you receive from the Word, when you believe it and put it into practice, can also become light for someone else?

Perhaps the path to light doesn't end when you find the light.

Perhaps that's exactly when it begins to illuminate someone else's path as well.

And this prompted me to search deeper:

“What does the Word of God say about healing?”
