What is stored on your device.

The page only uses what it needs to function, plus some choices we save for you.

Essential

Selected language, reading preferences (text size), and where you left off a material to continue later.

These are stored locally on your device and do not identify the person.

They are activated only with your consent and do not store the full text of searches.

If you reject them, the site functions exactly the same.

You can delete them from your browser settings for this page, at any time.

After deletion, preferences revert to initial values.
