Question
What are the first signs of new life?
The Holy Spirit leads you to know Jesus as Lord and to draw near to God as Father.
Short Answer
The Holy Spirit leads you to know Jesus as Lord and to draw near to God as Father. As you abide in Christ, the fruit of the Spirit begins to appear in your life: love, joy, peace, and the inner change He brings.

“For you didn’t receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!” The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God;”
