Question
How does the Holy Spirit begin to work in my life?
Let the Holy Spirit do His work while you believe and remain in the Word of God.
Short Answer
Let the Holy Spirit do His work as you believe and abide in God's Word. He dwells within you, guides you into truth, and brings change to your heart; then His work becomes evident through the fruit, power, and testimony of your life.
The Word
“I will pray to the Father, and he will give you another Counselor, that he may be with you forever,— the Spirit of truth, whom the world can’t receive; for it doesn’t see him, neither knows him. You know him, for he lives with you, and will be in you.”
John 14:16-17
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.”
Galatians 5:22-23
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth.””
Acts 1:8
